We are working with a global water technology business that treats water and wastewater for some of the world’s most water-intensive industries. Their Bahrain entity has been operating for a decade with an established office and team, and is now expanding on the sales side to capture growing demand for specialty chemicals across local industry.

What you will be doing
– Owning technical chemical sales into industrial customers across Bahrain.
– Developing existing relationships and building new ones with clients, consultants, contractors and industry stakeholders.
– Preparing technical and commercial tenders, dosage calculations, compliance matrices and commercial proposals for water treatment chemical programs.
– Acting as a technical consultant on retainer for key accounts – system optimisation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement.
– Working cross-functionally with the wider regional team on procurement, finance and delivery.
What we need from you
– B.Tech in Chemical Engineering or equivalent.
– 7 to 10 years of experience in water treatment or specialty chemicals sales, with a minimum of 3 to 5 years already based in Bahrain (non-negotiable).
– Existing network across Bahrain’s industrial chemicals and water treatment customer base.
– Strong technical grounding in water treatment processes, chemical applications, and system performance optimisation.
– Commercial acumen – tender management, costing, negotiation.
– Excellent English communication skills. Arabic desirable but not essential.
