Key Account Manager – Oil & Gas (Qatar)
KinFitz and Co
Are you the person who actually understands what’s happening on the ground in a major oil & gas account – and can turn that into commercial growth?
A leading learning and development company with a growing footprint in the GCC energy sector is looking for a Key Account Manager to own and grow one of their most strategic accounts. This isn’t a farming role – you’ll be writing proposals, closing deals, and expanding the relationship well beyond where it sits today.
WHAT’S IN IT FOR YOU
– AED 30k/month base
– Real commercial ownership – not just relationship maintenance
– A high-profile account in the Qatar energy sector with significant expansion runway
– Autonomy to build the relationship and grow the footprint your way
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING
– Acting as the bridge between the client’s SHES/safety stakeholders and the internal delivery team – translating technical issues into language the business can act on
– Facilitating briefing sessions with client stakeholders, then writing the resulting proposals and owning the deal to close
– Driving utilisation and adoption of learning technology across the account, protecting renewals and identifying expansion opportunities
– Expanding the account beyond the current project into other client-side teams and the wider contractor community
– Providing regular reporting to leadership on pipeline, account health, and deal risk
WHAT WE NEED
– Genuine HSE/SHES SME credibility in the oil & gas industry – senior enough to be trusted by safety stakeholders from day one
– Proven experience writing commercial proposals and closing deals – this role has full proposal-to-close accountability
– A track record of growing accounts, not just maintaining them
– Willingness to be based in Qatar, or travel a minimum of two weeks per month on-site (Sunday to Thursday)
– Existing network within the Qatar/GCC energy contractor ecosystem is a strong advantage
