Are you a hands on quality professional who can take full ownership of production, supplier and packaging quality, and help build a quality management system from the ground up?

A fast growing fragrance and beauty brand based in Dubai is scaling quickly after recently establishing itself as an independent business, building out its own policies, processes and procedures as it grows. With a genuinely international team and a strong creative culture, the company is now investing seriously in its quality function and needs an Assistant Quality Manager to provide urgent support to a Quality Manager who is currently carrying the workload alone.

This is not a desk based, review and pass along role. You will own nonconformities end to end, from identifying the issue and finding the root cause through to implementing and following up on corrective action, and you will work directly and cross functionally with product development and packaging teams, not just within a production environment.

What you’ll be doing:

• Managing nonconformities end to end, including root cause analysis and implementation of corrective and preventive actions

• Working with external manufacturers and packaging component suppliers on specifications and resolving quality issues

• Supporting the development and documentation of a formal quality management system, including ISO alignment and SOPs

• Collaborating closely with product development and packaging teams to ensure quality is built into the process from the start

• Supporting physical distribution quality and B2C consumer complaint handling as needed

What we need:

• Hands on quality experience within a beauty, cosmetics, fragrance or FMCG production environment, not purely an analyst or lab based background

• Exposure to ISO, QMS and CAPA, having worked within a formal quality management system and led corrective and preventive actions

• Experience managing nonconformities independently, from investigation through to resolution

• Strong communication skills and comfort working cross functionally, this role sits close to leadership and other departments, not solely within a plant

• Supplier or packaging component quality experience is a strong advantage, though not essential
