Are you a reinsurance professional who wants to take a young DIFC business and make it your own?

Our client is a fast growing Dubai insurance broker with a senior team from one of the world’s largest international brokers. Its DIFC entity holds a reinsurance and MGA licence and has been trading since mid 2025. It already places reinsurance for several of the group’s largest accounts, and it holds its own property binder for warehouse and manufacturing risks that many local insurers will not write. Demand is there, with a steady flow of monthly enquiries. Now they need an experienced reinsurance leader to own the business, convert that demand and grow it with brokers and insurers across the region.

What will you be doing?

* Meeting brokers and insurers across the UAE and the region to win slips and see them through to placement
* Working both sides of the market, with insurers and with reinsurers and capacity providers
* Distributing the property binder and lifting conversion on incoming enquiries
* Bringing in new reinsurance business from your own relationships
* Growing the business beyond the group’s own clients to other brokers and insurers
* Leading and developing the small DIFC team

What do you need?

* Reinsurance broking or underwriting experience in the UAE or wider GCC
* Strong relationships with both insurers and reinsurers
* A proven track record of business you have placed or written yourself
* Property and non-medical experience, ideally industrial and warehouse risks
* Experience with binders, MGAs or delegated authority is a bonus
* DIFC or DFSA experience is helpful
* An owner’s mindset and the drive to build something without big company structure around you
* Fluent English, based in Dubai
